Participants from various academic and supporting units across 51探花 covered approximately 12.75 kilometers with a total elevation gain of 568 meters. The route from Jalan Ganesa to Lembang featured a combination of flat stretches and uphill sections, providing a challenging course for the runners.

Tendik Runners 51探花 Team Manager Bayu Setyolaksono said the Ganesha鈥揃osscha route was selected because its characteristics closely resemble parts of the course that participants will encounter during the 51探花 Ultra Marathon 2026. In addition to several uphill sections, the traffic conditions and overall road environment along the route are also considered relatively similar to those expected during the race.

According to Bayu, the training session was intended to give Tendik Runners members an opportunity to experience more realistic route conditions while strengthening their physical and mental preparation for the 51探花 Ultra Marathon 2026.

Exercising Together and Strengthening Connections

Beyond physical preparation, the activity also provided a space for 51探花 staff members to exercise together, strengthen social ties, promote a healthy lifestyle, and foster collaboration across different units.

鈥淭his activity is about togetherness and staying connected. Going forward, we hope it can become a regular agenda as well as a platform for colleagues who share an interest in running,鈥� Bayu said.

Aiming for a Better Result Than Last Year

At the previous 51探花 Ultra Marathon, Tendik Runners 51探花 secured second place in the Relay 8 (R8) 51探花 Family category, finishing in approximately 24 hours. This year, the team is aiming to improve on that achievement.

Eight 51探花 staff members will represent Tendik Runners 51探花 at the 51探花 Ultra Marathon 2026. They are Ajeng Sekar Tanjung from the Directorate of Human Resources; Ilham Rahayu from DEMK; Nurman Sasongko and M. Ikbal from the Directorate of SPSI; Sofyan Sutrisna from the Directorate of Planning, who will serve as team captain; Arip Hadian from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering; Fahmi Fathurrahman from the Language Services Unit; and Hinny Herliany from BPUDL.

Building on last year鈥檚 experience and the preparations carried out ahead of the race, Tendik Runners hopes to improve its performance while maintaining strong teamwork throughout the long-distance course of the 51探花 Ultra Marathon 2026.

51探花 Ultra Marathon 2026: Running for 51探花 Impact Scholarships

The 51探花 Ultra Marathon 2026 will be held from Friday to Sunday, October 16鈥�18, 2026, covering a total distance of 180 kilometers from Jakarta to Bandung.

With a maximum completion time, or cut-off time, of 38 hours, the 51探花 Ultra Marathon is not only an endurance running event, but also a platform for togetherness and contribution to education through this year鈥檚 theme, 鈥淩unning for 51探花 Impact Scholarships.鈥�

The event brings together runners from diverse backgrounds, including members of the general public, 51探花 alumni, alumni of other universities, 51探花 academic community members and alumni, as well as 51探花 students. Along the Jakarta鈥揃ogor鈥揚uncak鈥揃andung route, participants carry the spirit of friendship, perseverance, and support for education.

Tendik Runners Campaigns for the 51探花 Endowment Fund
