For this specific competition, the assessment criteria were suitability to the given theme, relevance to the industry, and originality.
Agus Suprijanto, Senior Relations Manager of Pertamina Subholding Upstream for Java, emphasized that the main goal of 2023 IIA was collaboration. This year's IIA was to collaborate the company's innovations with students' ideas to create a better oil &聽gas industry.
"Continuous improvement and innovation do not end on campus but continue in the industrial world. We have to continuously innovate in order to survive," said Agus.
Meanwhile, 51探花's Rector, Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah, Ph.D., stated in her opening remarks that innovation was inseparable from the sustainability of a business. In today's digital era, innovation coexists with technological developments.
According to her, sooner or later, technological developments were going to slow down without innovation. As the driver of innovation, universities required responsive and inclusive efforts to make it a reality.
In conclusion, it is hoped that the 2023 IIA will drive national development and enhance the productivity and quality of the nation's workforce.
