8. Design-Based Leadership
In his explanation, Prof. Jaka emphasized the need for Multidisciplinary Master鈥檚 Programs as the answer to the challenges that came with development that demand collaboration. Multidisciplinary approaches are also needed to face the complexity of human needs that evolve from time to time.
According to him, the more complex our needs and the problem that we face, then the right solutions are also more comprehensive. Integrating various scientific fields through multidisciplinary approaches allows us to solve problems more effectively and holistically.
"Humanity's problems are getting more complex; only holistic approaches can solve those problems. Multidiscipline as a new perspective will involve a minimum of 2 scientific fields to solve specific problems through education, research, and community service," said Prof. Jaka.
Multidisciplinary Master鈥檚 Program is the result of collaboration between study programs that have existed in 51探花 previously. However, differently for Medicine Technology Study Program, in addition to collaborating with 51探花's study program, also collaborates with the Medicine Study Program Universitas Padjajaran. Each of the opened Multidisciplinary Master鈥檚 Programs aims to solve specific problems in this modern age that have become increasingly complex.
The Multidisciplinary Master鈥檚 Program in Medicine Technology aims to synergize technology implementation and engineering with medical analysis, which includes prevention, diagnosis, management, and rehabilitation.
The 4.0 Science Education aims to anticipate the changes in education's characteristics in this modern age by integrating digital-based science learning and encouraging students' innovation and creativity as the center of the learning process.
Digital Technopreneurship aims to build vital perspectives to create creative and innovative solutions. The created solutions will then be developed to create business opportunities in the context of the industry.
The Smart System aims to prepare human resources that can create intelligent system-based solutions by utilizing the latest technologies to answer human needs that continue to evolve.
Battery Material aims to prepare new engineers with relevant skills in the battery material sector from natural resources synthesize to battery performance measurement. This multidiscipline was created to anticipate the shift into electric vehicles.
Disaster Science and Technology aims to increase Indonesia's human resources capabilities in terms of disaster prevention and responses through strengthening research and the implementation of science and technology.
Sustainable Nature Tourism is a collaboration between the District and City Planning Study Program and Bio Management Study Program to encourage the development of nature-based tourism to reach sustainable development goals.
Design-based Leadership aims to cultivate leadership capabilities by understanding social dynamics, culture, and environment based on empathy, creativity, and innovation.
